Been a lot of work getting this together.

Check it out, especially the video featuring music from WhereDivisionEnds.com and lots and lots of my drawings!

I sometimes get discouraged when I submit art on here, because it doesn't seem like many people ever look at it. I wonder if I'm not quite as good as I hope I am, or if I'll ever produce anything that will interest anyone.

Then, I go browsing through deviations, and I noticed that it's filled with poorly done pieces and badly formatted images (poorly contrasted, cropped, color balanced, etc.). It takes work to find really excellent art on here!  I dig and dig, then find something amazing that someone did, and I notice that the piece only has three views in its entire lifetime.

That seems criminal. There are people on here with amazing talent, but they get lost in the sea of . . . not much talent. I guess that everyone needs to practice and learn. Not everyone will be amazing right away. I sure have some major shortcomings in many areas.

It would be nice if people would only put their best art on here, though. I do recall that the submission button asks that only finished pieces of art be submitted as a "deviation," that unfinished works should go to a scraps folder or what-not. Probably 60 to 70 percent of the stuff I see on here should be in the scraps folder. But, that's how it goes.

Oh well. I guess one way or another it takes work to find good work.

Because the old one was out of date and no longer true.  I got a new Comp and CS 5 Design Standard, so my whoa's are gone!

I discovered I cannot edit large images at 300 dpi.  My computer is too slow and my harddrive too small.  Alas!  My poor 5 1/2 year Lenovo!

I can edit 150 dpi images no problem though.  Oh well.  Patience.
